Subject Description: Cherry and maple, plain and bird's eye; four fluted oval feet; lower section of five drawers width of case, lower four panelled at each side with carved central panel or arabesques; fifth drawer from bottom carved with fluting and framed centralcherub face and wings; upper se ction recessed with turned and carved column at outer front edge; three sections across upper level with three drawers each side of a central door pivoting on metal pins at right and with lock at left; panelled door with eight sidedcentral element framing a carved rippling ribbon in oval shape; entablature above carved with design resembling overlapping feathers; central panel carved with scrolling acanthus leaves, and moldings above; sides and back of chest panelled; full dust boards.
