Subject Description: Silver, circular base; four equidistant feet of two lion's paws below lion's head with scrolls to each side; egg-and-dart and bead decorations on stepped moldings at base; four ribbon with cymbals and tambourine cast detachable decorations equidistant onplain area of base, each secured by silver bolt with silver nut through base; egg-and-dart decoration at juncture of base to bowl; bowl with central applied cast band of figs and fig leaves; two detachable handles in shape of Bacchus bust with grapes andgrape leaves in hair and shoulders draped with fur; gilt bowl interior.
